The first CD I had by him was his “War Child: Pavarotti & Friends”, dad bought it during our HK trip around 1996.  So I started to like him and his music…. very very much!  I know people have different opinions on the sharply distinct genres he brought together in those P & Friends concerts, but I really loved all of them.  It gives a feeling of compassion and understanding, of co-existence and tolerance…

I also loved him for his cheerful smiles..

Many of my web IDs were “pjeni”: jeni was my English name, and P for Pavarotti.

I will miss him…. 😦

(how strange a person you’ve never met can make you feel sad…??!!)
